AM
AM — Moped class I
Licence for EU mopeds with a top design speed of 45 km/h.
From age 15
A1
A1 — Light motorcycle
Motorcycles up to 125 cc and 11 kW.
From age 16
A2
A2 — Medium motorcycle
Motorcycles up to 35 kW with a limited power-to-weight ratio.
From age 18
A
A — Heavy motorcycle
Motorcycles with no power restriction.
From age 24
B
B — Passenger car
The most common licence: cars and light trucks up to 3,500 kg.

BE
BE — Car with heavy trailer
Car with a trailer whose total weight exceeds what B allows.

C
C — Heavy truck
Trucks with a total weight above 3,500 kg.

CE
CE — Truck with trailer
